By using Prop Scout (“the service”), you agree to these terms.

The service

Prop Scout is a decision tool for tracking and comparing candidate rental properties. It helps you model cash flow, ground rent estimates in market data, and compare candidates. It is a tool for your own analysis — not financial, legal, or tax advice.

Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account. Your scouting data belongs to you and is scoped to your account.

Subscriptions and payments

The service is paid, with a free trial as described at signup. Payments are processed by Stripe, which is the merchant of record, under its own terms. Your subscription renews until you cancel; you can cancel from your account’s billing page. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and the payment provider’s terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or overload the service, attempt to access another account, scrape or republish the service’s content, or use the service to store unlawful material. You are responsible for complying with applicable law in the markets you scout.

No warranties; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the service’s output. The model’s outputs are estimates; verify material numbers independently before making investment decisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions about these terms can be directed to the account holder of the app you use.
